Great location, overlooking Mississippi & Mudd Island Park. Walking distance to Beale Street, Ball stadium, Peabody Hotel and great restaurants. Spacious room with comfortable linens & bedding. Friendly staff and okay breakfast. Would recommend to anyone visiting Memphis.

This hotel was located right next to the river and the main-street trolley line, making it a great location. Parking was convenient and not too expensive. Staff was very accommodating and polite. Breakfast buffet was large and well attended. My only advice is don't listen to the desk clerk if they try to send you to Jack's corner store for postcard […] stamps. Jack's sold me regular stamps at a 50% markup. I should have walked away, but needed stamps! Ďalšie informácie

Right across from entrance to Mud Island-very convenient for concerts and only a few blocks walk to Beale Street.

We were extra fortunate to get an upgrade to our room for our anniversary! (Thank you, hotels.com!!!) Great view of the Mississippi! The hotel is only 1.5 blocks from the trolley so we chose to leave our car parked at the hotel. Parking was secure at the hotel for a very reasonable rate. Foremost on our agenda was to see Beale Street and the neon signs […] at night and we felt very safe taking the trolley to and from the hotel. The Mississippi Riverboat Cruise and Mud Island are right nearby and a MUST SEE! Coffee was always hot in the lobby too! The only nitpicky downfall I can see is that the only snack-vending machines were in the lobby. Would have been great to scatter more over the guest floors. We didn't use the pool or exercise facilities but noted a lot of guests using them - so they seemed to be good too! All staff we encountered were friendly and smiling! The hotel is old school, but has all the necessary and up-to-date amenities. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is great. The location worked well for me. It is downtown and though it is not in the middle of Beale Street, it is close walking distance (or trolley ride) to the Pyramid, Mud Island, Main Street, the Convention Center, the theatre, […] many restaurants, FedEx Forum and Beale Street. Stayed 3 nights in August with my husband. Thought it was a great hotel - within easy walking distance of Beale St, rooms were clean and spacious, staff were very friendly. Breakfast was basic but I expected that so was not disappointed. Swimming pool was nice and had lots of loungers. I would definitely stay here again.

Older hotel room had some moisture near the a/c unit but otherwise excellent location near all (some shady people lurk in the shadows) nice staff and excellent breakfast. Good enough as a one nite stay would stay again

I was very pleased overall with the stay at the Comfort in. Though it was not the most centrally located in relationship to Beale Street, it was directly across the street from Mud Island River Park and a very short walk from the trolley which could take you anywhere in downtown Memphis. My friend and I found this to be a lovely hotel. All the staff we met were always pleasant and helpful. Our room was clean and very comfortable with everything we needed. It was approximately a 5 minute walk to the mississippi and 15 minutes walk to Beale Street. I would definitely stay here again when I return to Memphis.

The hootel itself was nice. Our room (1002) over looked the pool on the 9th floor and we had a nice view of the River and park. Only negative about the hotel was the shower head being very low. At 5'8" I was unable to get under the shower head with out bending over. The other negative was the men who seem to come out around 7pm begging for money on […] Main street. The Comfort Inn at Downtown Memphis near Beale Street was surprisingly very nice. I normally stay at more upscale places when vacationing, but I booked late and ended up here. To my surprise, the rooms were so spacious! The staff extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. It's not as close to Beale Street as I had hoped (about 9 blocks - not […] so easy or safe to walk around in heels at night), but we drove anyway and had access to our car 24/7 for a low flat rate. We loved staying at the Comfort Inn in downtown Memphis. It was close to everything. We parked our car in the secure underground lot and never got back into it until we checked several days later. We took the trolleys all over town and also used the hotel desk to set up tours for us at Graceland and a City Tour of Memphis. Great people! Great fun! We […] will be back again! Thanks!!!! It was clean, friendly, convenient, comfortable. Was a good stay--recommend.

Have stayed here several times and it has met or exceeded our expectations and this visit was no exception.

I stayed in the Downtown Comfort Inn on NYE and even though the hotel was sold-out that night, I still got exceptional service from the front desk staff. Parking was easy and convenient. The room was clean & nice-sized. And most importantly, the downtown location is perfect.

Check in was very smooth and receptionist let us see the difference btw the king and 2 queen rooms. Parking is under the hotel and is a decent price considering the price of some other places. The breakfast was fantastic...for a continental breakfast it was the best we've had. The rooms were clean, comfy and roomy. We stayed on the 15 floor...what a […] view! Now, getting downtown was effortless. The memphis trolley picks up less than 1 block away but the walk was very nice, FLAT, clean and well lit (less than 15 min to Beale Street). The trolley runs often and a small fee is charged each trip. If you plan on riding it several times, to and from, we recommend the day pass. (very reasonable either way) You can catch the Riverfront trolley and it takes you the scenic route around the river and makes the same stops as the downtown trolley once you get to the downtown area. If it's late and the trolley stops running and you are downtown we recommend a taxi (approx $5.00 one way) due to the amount of people that ask for money while you are walking. (there are alot of them) The trolley makes stops near the National Civil rights museum, Beale street, Mud Island River Park (right across the street from hotel) and lots of other places. This hotel was more than we expected and was reasonable priced for the downtown area. Very easy to access from I40. I felt very safe there but will admit that caution should be used if walking during very late hours. Fitness room was very small and limited but adequate for getting your heart rate up. We will stay here again!!! The star rating was misleading for it trumped the the 31/2 star hotel we stayed in earlier. Ďalšie informácie

The hotel was clean, fairly new condition. Good location, close to the trolley stop if you don't feel like walking to Beale St. Free hotel parking, secure. Staff was great, very friendly and knowledgeable. Great price. Breakfast was good, not the standard continental.

This hotel was very nice and a great price. Free breakfast, and a short (10-15 min tops) walk to Beale Street and Main Street. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and great views of the Mississippi. Parking fee for garage.

wonderful hotel right in the heart of everything. Parking was a little high, they could cut a little deal with hotel patrons.

Our stay was wonderful.The check in was easy, the staff was friendly and informative.They even had asprin without you having to buy them.The elevator was alittle scary and the bed was not all that comfortablr but, overall we were completely satisfied.

The hotel is brilliantly situated, right on the banks of the Mississippi with some superb views from the room and the rooftop swimming pool, which was inexplicably being renovated in beautiful weather. I usually dont sleep well at any hotel but for some reason, I slept like a baby at this hotel. The neighborhood is very quiet so that helped. The breakfast was also very satisfying. Its only a 10 minute WALK away from Beale Street which has tons of bars and food...def. the place to hang out.

I used Hotels.com for the first time. Our room was huge compared to the surrounding hotels I found on-line. The staff was friendly and accomodations were fresh.

The People were very nice, and the rooms were decent, not super classy but suited just fine. Too pricey for booking ahead on a hotel.com deal. The location wasn't bad.

Mycket fräscht hotell. Stora mjuka sängar i ett stort rum. Helt ok frukost, både varmt o kallt. Som vanligt saknar jag dock ost och skinka på mina smörgåsar men dom äter ju inte så i USA. Trevlig personal.

tenete solo presente che per andare nelle vie del centro dovete avere l'automobile, il parcheggio è in hotel (non ricordo se si paga, comunque non è costoso)

Bedarf einer Erneuerung, ist aber im Preis entsprechend berücksichtigt. Gute Basis um Memphis zu entdecken. In unmittelbarer Nähe von Downtown, Fussgängerzone. Beale Street ist in ca. 10 Min. zu Fuss erreichbar
