This hotel did not look like it was shown. The room was in very poor shape, broken/cracked sink, light above sink not working, TV channel changer not working, room in rough shape. I would not recommend it to others

Did not feel safe, was filthy, smelled disgusting. Staff were very nice and pleasant considering the poor conditions they had to work with. Our family stays here when we plan visits to the Culpepper National Cemetery. Before we left town we scouted out different lodging options for our next visit.

The room was adequate, we had a king bed, which was comfortable. Room needed some maitainence. There were water stains on the ceiling, and looked like the last time it was redecorated was the early 90's. Continental breakfast was included in room price, very small "breakfast area", the photo on their website is deceiving . We stopped in for a night and were pleased with the service, we had to change room because of the phone not working but they were very helpful... the front desk was nice in helping us with other problems....

The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and very large. My room had a California King bed that was very comfortable. I would like to have one of those at home. The hotel has got a little age on it and there are some cosmetic things that could be done and should be done to update the exterior. But the grounds and the parking lot were very clean […] and well maintained. I stayed for only one night. This is a basic Comfort Inn. I did have trouble with my pre-paid reservation and had to pay again but the front desk straightened it out in the morning. They were nice about it.

Decent roadside motel with direct parking lot access to rooms. Excellent location for Culpeper, Madison, Orange, Rappahanock or Spotsylvania countiy visitors.

We booked a room shortly before arriving but it took the front desk almost a half an hour to receive and confirm the reservation. We have done this in other hotels (book shortly before arriving) and in one case our reservation was popping out of the hotel's fax machine as we walked in the door. (BTW it was midnight and we had just drove 7 hours.) The […] reception desk and office behind it had the feel of a tool rental shop. The round fluorescent light fixtures were filled with dead flies and what looked like a large squashed spider??. But wow they had free WiFi! The room was pretty dreary and beat looking. A stain on the lounge chair. The plastic laminate counter had the worst caulk job I have ever seen. Was that a blood stain? There was also what looked like a permanent coffee stain running across from beneath the coffee pot to the edge of the counter. They had plenty of those cheap spongy pillows of which two is too many and one not enough. All I can is I'm glad we only had to stay for one night. The night clerk told us that breakfast was until 10 AM. It wasn't, it closed at 9 AM. We managed to get some food but it was not the most appetizing anyhow. I wish motels of this nature would have fewer but better quality items rather than more not so great items. The room looked clean and smelled a bit of a flowery disinfectant or spray or other cleaning material but it wasn't disturbing after the initial entry to the room. The heat was controllable. At first it put out a musty oder which dissipated once the fan ran for a bit. Well, I wish there were nicer places to stay when you just need a one-niter and don't want to spend too much money but if you're in a pinch this may be your only choice. It's located in a hotel plaza with 3 other competing chains. Our booking agent said this was the least expensive of what they could book for us at that time. Ďalšie informácie

As other visitors have noted, this Comfort Inn seems to have trouble clearly defining a Non-Smoking room. Whether this is due to willful deception by the hotel, or inconsiderate behavior by prior guests, I cannot tell. In any case, the "Non-Smoking" room I checked into reeked of smoke, to the point that my asthmatic daughter couldn't even venture in. […] The next room they switched me to had the same problem. Finally, their third and last available room was smoke-free. Other than problems with the rooms, service at the hotel was great, breakfast was above expectations for a continental breakfast, and the room was comfortable and quiet, despite being located right near a main highway. I spent two nights here, coming and going, sandwiched around an event at a location farther from my home. It is a bit isolated (typical highway interchange location on the edge of town), but just fine if you intend to get back on the road in the morning. My stay fell slightly short in only one respect. Breakfast was supposed to be served until 10:00 […] a.m. on weekends, but on my first day (a Saturday), when I came down at 9:55 a.m., most of the food had been put away and they were already starting to clean up. Stayed in second floor room and there was visible black mold in the bathroom and as anyone knows that is the worst mold that a lot of people are allergic to. Also there had been a roof leak over the sink and the ceiling was bubbled and ready to fall, an area of about one foot by one foot. Room was great. They even accommodated our dog Abby. For a short stay of 1 - 3 days it is great. We even met a man who was staying for a month there. He was also very satisfied with the Comfort Inn.

The woman at the front desk was very unfriedly when we arrived. Our non-smoking room smelled like smoke, the light above the mirror did not work, wallpapers in the bathroom were partly falling off. And finally we were double charged. That has been my worst hotel experience so far.
