I booked a room for a night on short notice, The room was clean and smelled good and a great little breakfast in the morning.

I have now stayed there 3 times in the past month. The room was very comfortable and clean. The outdoor spa was hot, clean and relaxing. The "continental" breakfast was a full breakfast and very yummy. Staff was very nice and helpful with big smiles.

Extremely clean, comfortable beds. nice staff. wish it were closer to newport beach. would stay again... great place for the money..

I have to do over nights in the Irvine area because I cannot drive there in traffic for morning meetings. This hotel is right on the 55 Freeway sandwiched between housing complexes. It has convenient in-room refrigerators, flat screen TV with premium channels and a far-above-average complimentary breakfast. I stayed at the hotel just a few days before and was so happy I rebooked. The problem the second time was that our room was an adjoining room. The vocal volume of the people next door and their radio was normal, but it was as if it we were in the room with the radio! We stayed awake alllll night, as they obviously did next door! Stayed there twice now and been delighted. convienent to all locations and a fabulous Italian restaurant called Sopranos within walking distance...like less than a minute.

Room had a stench I couldn't locate. Had it not been late with no other choice, I would not have stayed here. Not worth the discounted rate.

This is the second time my friends and I have stayed at this hotel and we really enjoy it for the service and convenience. Good job

The hotel was very nice with extras for the price. but there was a lot of noise, both through the adjoining door and from the street.

Was surprised the stay. Room was clean. Internet was fast. Breakfast was ok. Having microwave in room was convenient and I would have use it if I stayed longer. Would come back.

Very clean, comfortable beds, liked the free breakfast. We have stayed there twice now, will go back again. Price is okay for the beach area..

Only had one real problem where the A/C wouldn't stay on in my room and as soon as I told them about it they changed rooms for me. Both rooms were very clean. Bathrooms were nice. Fridge & microwave were odorless, clean, and in perfect working condition. I have a lot if family out there, and I will be staying there again.

Very pretty room, nice furnishings, newer building and has a pool and nice continental breakfast.

The room was clean and comfortable. Great location to freeways. Breakfast was great, wonderful selection. Highly recommend for short or long stay.

Stayed 2 nights during a seminar. Room was spotless, new/ modern furnishings, good sized bathroom vanity and mini-kitchen area, comfy bed. Only complaint was that TV cable was spotty. The hotel was chosen primarily for cost and convenient location. It was an older motel style place which had obviously had some rennovations. Our room had a decent sized fridge and microwave, a new flat screen tv, the bath had granite surround, the sink had a granite counter, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. An ideal stop for a night or two […] for those either on business or on a road trip, looking to watch the pennies. Free breakfast was also more than adequate - cereals, pastries, yogurts and toast, plus hot food, coffee and juices. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The AC worked perfectly and the room had a flat screen tv . Overall the room was nicer then I thought it would be. The breakfast downstairs was also not disappointing they had pretty much everything. The beach is 10min away.

I really love this Comfort Inn. Several years ago I stopped there. It had just been refurbished and the rooms looked stunning. Brand new! For the price - can't complain. close enough to shopping and beach. when we check in hardly anyone was checked in and we asked for second floor but they said that there were none available - right.

Stayed only one night. Bed was okay, pilliows soft and mushy - not to my liking - and wouldn't have been comfortable for more than one night - for me. Room and bathroom clean - equipped with fridge, microwave, flat screen TV. Door to outside, so rather noisy. Overall ok.

Comfortable bed on the firm side which we liked, clean, good staff, so-so but ok "breakfast", the cooler worked great and the room smelled fresh. Very, very good small Italian resturant next door. Decent place for the money and I would go back. Overall a bargin. Better then I expected.

Stayed in "non smoking" facility, however directly outside all rooms is a smoke fest. Cigarette butts all over. I asked desk staff to give me a different room because room occupants next to me were smoking constantly outside my door. Desk person lied to me about being sold out, with no other rooms available and did nothing about the smoking problem. […] Far too many other choices in OC for future stays. Never again. This charming little motel-style inn is really wonderful. Flower gardens separated the rooms from the parking, giving a secluded feeling. In the morning, we retrieved our Continental breakfast from the inn's reception room. We walked across the 2-lane Moonstone Beach Road and found miles of boardwalk above the surf with seals sunning themselves on the […] rocks. What a fabulous location! Inside the room, we had a mini-kitchen and gas "fireplace" that doubled as a heater to keep it cozy on a windy, chilly May evening. A short stroll brought us to the wonderful Moonstone Bar and Grill, which had been recommended by the innkeeper, who also told us about several of the other local shops and restaurants as well as attractions in the area. Just a few miles north we visited Hearst Castle and south we saw the charming seacoast town of Morro Bay with the sea otters playing in the bay. We will definitely stay again at this little gem of an inn and recommend it to everyone! It's worth the drive to Cambria to stay at Sea Otter Inn, where you can relax and enjoy the calm and peace of life on the Central California Coast! Ďalšie informácie

Hotel was comfortable. The breakfast was good, the usuals but I was surprised to find a waffle machine with pre-maid batter so we had a hot breakfast. The pool was a bit small but it would have been perfect but it wasn't heated so we only jumped in and then right back out! Room was clean and neat. We didn't hear much traffic from the freeway because […] we were near the far end but I'm guessing that the rooms close to the freeway side might have heard noise. Good value for what it was. This is a great value. No shuttle to the airport tho, hence the price. Taxi is $12-$14 one way. You could book that in advance with SuperShuttle and save a couple of bucks. Clean, great breakfast, nice little pool/hot tub area. Small property, maybe 80 rooms max. (8 out of 10 for the price)

My Friends and I were so pleased with everything about the hotel. The location was so close to Disney, Balboa Island, Newport Beach Laguna, and San Clemente which was all of our destinations and a1 minute walk brought you to the best Italian restaurant you could ever hope to find. I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The location was perfect for my needs. The continental breakfast was what you would expect (pastries, coffee, juice, etc.) and the room was in good condition. I always bring my own towels but those provided were clean as were the bed linens. The room was a little dusty but for the most part it clean and comfortable. […] I loved that the entire place was smoke free and there were not a lot of rooms. Although there was what was clearly a cigarette burn on the comforter the place didn't smell of smoke. The free internet service was great. I had no problems connecting or staying connected at decent speeds. Definitely money well spent. I stayed for 6 nights and my only complaint was being able to hear the people upstairs walk around as I was trying to go to sleep. On my last day there the maintenance crew was installing door stops so that you could prop the doors open, he knocked once and called out and before I could get up to answer he opened the door. I was not happy. Good thing I was still in my jeans and t-shirt and only lounging in the chair reading a book. So, my only advice would be to make sure you engage the locks when you are in your room. I would definately reccomend this hotel for anyone - my room was very adequate, updated, and clean Although I didn't use the mini-fridge, it was nice to know it was there & I used the in-room microwave and coffee maker. The conntinental breakfast could have been better - maybe bananas added.

We had a wonderful stay at your hotel. Tha room was very clean and quiet. The neighbors were quiet no loud noises so we had a great stay there. We would recommend to friends and family....

The room was clean, two queen beds, small refridgeator, micro way and coffee maker. However the frig was so noisey that we had to unplug it in order to get some sleep, then in the middle of the night it started to defrost and the noise woke us up. We had to leave at 5 in the morning so were not able to partake of the breakfast. We intended to have 3 […] of us in the room but hotel did not have a roll-away bed for the third adult male in the room. This is an average motel. It is a bit out of the way for Newport Beach, but since the place is well maintained and the beds were pretty good and the rooms were clean, it was OK. Thought it was a bit expensive for the level of quality, compared with San Diego, but I guess a different location, a different price. I expect a bit lower price for a two star though. Continental […] breakfast was nice, but it is set up too late if you are an early riser! Sure would be nice to have it set up by 6:00 AM. If you are a surfer, maybe you hit it after the morning session. The folks at the front counter were cordial, but most did not seem like they enjoyed being there or really wanted to be of help. They just did what they were required to do and that was about it. It never felt like anyone wanted to go the extra 2 steps, let alone the extra mile.
