The location is good if you're looking for something close to the shopping areas! Quick drive into town. Room was quiet but hotel service was okay. When you travel to a new area, you never know what you will get which lends a factor of uncertainty to your trip. Well this time we were so thankful we made this particular choice. The room was very comfortable and clean and nicely arranged with the convenience of a full kitchen, large space, and lovely grounds. It is convenient to many restaurants […] within walking distance including a Trader Joes, and the freeway is central to the activities we wanted. It was nice to be out of town center in a quiet place, but just a matter of ten or fifteen minutes from the city on the freeway. There is also access to the city's rail and bus system nearby. We usually stay at the adjacent Fairfield Inn. We opted for the Residence Inn because of our extended 6 day stay. Having the kitchen available was very nice. Our room had been recently recarpeted. We had a wonderful stay. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The room is clean but shows signs of age, it's almost to the point where it needs to be refreshed- some new paint, carpet and vinyl.
