"Expensive for what you get"
I booked a King "luxury" room. Im not sure what made it luxury. It was a very small room compared to other hotels, with the same ammeneties. The only difference was a huge pricetag. No balchony, no bathtub. Basically just a bed, TV, Shower and Window. Nothing luxurious about this room.

Great location on junction of 5th/Goodlette-Frank with a lovely covered bar/restaurant overlooking the river and a small pool. Just 10 mins walk to the centre of 5th Avenue with all its buzzing restaurants and shops Unfortunately very noisy a/c unit kept us awake, combined with guests in the hotel lobby with the TV on very loud at 2.30am and 5am. "The Bayfront Inn Naples is the place to stay!"
We were very pleased with the check-in process, the location of our room overlooking the bay, the cleanliness of the room, the fun atmosphere in the restaurant and bar and finally, the pool and hot tub was delightful! We will return!

Excellent hotel, quaint and in the center of a wonderful water area. It was more than we expected. the planes overhead only bothered me the first few times, then all forgotten. Love the waterways, restaurants, walking, shopping, etc. The only negative was we thought we were getting a kitchenette and so did the other couple we met, so the online info […] is incorrect. "Sort of good location"
We didn't explore a ton of Naples, mostly stuck to the beach, 5th Ave and the area right around the hotel. It is on 5th Ave, but far enough from the beach that you probably drive to the beach. There are a few places around the hotel so for the price it is a good place to stay to be near 5th Ave (we gather that is where much of the action is). Hotel located next to major roadway. Heard traffic all night. Complained to front desk they were not interested in helping.

Great location - right on the bay where you can take the sunset cruise or rent boats/canoes from your hotel! Also Tin city is just steps away! Very comfortable bed....we will stay here again!!

"Naples hotel is in great location"
The location is superb (on the water) and close to great restaurants. Tin City is across the street with fine seafood restaurants. The view firm the "Byside" rooms are wonderful.

This is a Great location and the staff was extremly gracious.... Until you go to the Restaurant... I have never been yelled at by a waiter in my life, until now. the waiter was Rude-Pushy-and overall NASTY...... I was there on business and will not stay there again due to this, as I do not want to go look for a place to eat after working all day. I was there on a very cold weekend, which may have influenced my feelings about the place, but I do think that it is essential to be on the Bayside so you have a bit of a view. Our room faced out onto the parking lot, and we heard noise in the evening, although not steadily, but enough that it was annoying. They had a very pleasant looking pool but […] it was too cold to swim, but they did have a waffle bathrobein that would've been nice to use. They were disorganized with the breakfast buffet but did their. Est to be accommodating. Had fruit and eggs Benedict for under $20, but charged for coffee. "Superb"
The comfort and location of the Bayfront Inn were outstanding. The neighborhood interesting, most convenient and surrounded by an excellent choice of good restaurants -- also a taste of Venice, American style. I would definitely return.
Beds were sooo comfortable and staff were very helpful. They have a new manager since last Nov. 2011 and he seems to be doing an excellent job. We thought the Hotel was very nice and would stay there again if we go back to Naples.

Beautiful setting and a good location. There is an underground walkway that takes you across to Tin City and easy walking access to 5th avenue. There are also restaurants and shops in the same developoment as the hotel. If you are carrying beach gear you will want a car to get to the beach. The hotel provides beach chairs, towels and unbrellas that […] you can take to the beach which was very convenient. Not a fancy place, but overall nice with a nice pool area. Rooms are a little small, but the beds were comfortable and nice tv's. The worst part was that the hotel bar closed at 8:00 pm every night which I thought was rather odd. Breakfast buffett was very reasonable as was daily happy hour. No room service. A sundries room did have snacks and drinks. ....and an underground passageway to the Tin City area, with great seafood restaurant Pinchers. Close to the highway so noisy by the pool, but I didn't hear it in my room. Nice walkway over to shopping and restaurants nearby and access to marina and Segway tours. I was surprised two years in a row I was able to get such a good deal here; I think few […] know about it. While the hotel could have been a little better in places, some updating and strange apparent religious affiliation, nonetheless, we were very comfortable on the 4th floor during our recent stay. This hotel is a short walk from the shops and restaurants in5th Avenue, and walk we did. The beds are very comfortable, the sheets were changed on request, […] except once and the room was kept clean (not under the beds) . Nice tropical decor, breakfast, charged for, was very good, pleasant staff, good coffee, excellent views from the terrace and rooms. He hotel was wonderful. But I had booked my hotel using this site and the girls just stared at me when I walked in. Apparently they didn't know how to look at online reservations. Finally one of the brighter of the two went into the back where a printout was waiting for them with my reservation. So if you want a laugh, enjoy the highly trained front […] end staff. We have stayed in the Bayfront many other times and always return. It is well sized - small enough to be very intimate but large enough to offer all the amenities we are looking for. It's location is great, as is the view if you opt for a room on the bay. You can easily walk to numerous shops and restaurants from the location.

Great deal! They were the most friendly and courtious staff I have met. The hotel went above and beyond by providinf towels, beach chairs and umbrellas. Will definetely visit again. Price was right.

"BEST DEAL IN NAPLES"
This was our 5th stay at this hotel in the past 5-6 years. It used to be a Comfort Inn up until about 2004, but I guess that hotel brand name couldn't attract a moneyed clientle so they sold it and the new (private/non-chain) owners spruced it up redecorated it. It's starting to show a little age and will probably need renovation in the next two years […] or so, but it's still a very good value and the location is very convenient to 5th Avenue South in Old Naples where all the nice restaurants and boutique shops are located (an easy 1-2 block walking distance). If you are on a budget, this place is a very good value, particularly due its location and nice view of the bay. The patio bar is a nice treat as well The rooms are not that large, but they are nicely decorated and comfortable. Since we made our reservation late for our stay this time (just 2 weeks out), they put us in a room facing the busy intersection where the hotel is located, but the room was well insulated from the outside noise and we slept soundly. We will probably continue to stay at this hotel whenever we go to Naples (usually about once a year), but I worry that it may become run down if they don't renovate it in the next 2-3 years or so. We have stayed at this over the years on and off. When it was first opened, it was a older property which had been taken over by Bay Front and redone very nicely as a European style boutique hotel. Over the years, it has taken a slight toll and needs some updating. The beds are overdue for replacement and the bedding and pillows are worn. "Loved This Place"
The Tommy Bahama decorating, the great location, view of the water, comfortable beds, everything about this hotel was great!! Plan on returning soon.
Overall a good experience. The hotel is reasonably nice and staff are all guest focused.
Good location close to downtown, hotel interior showing some signs of age, furniture and carpet. Carpet not that clean could use replacing but overall quiet and well run place
Considering this is supposed to be a 4 star hotel I felt I've had more service and amenities at chains along an interstate. Had to go to different floors to get ice, and no one answered at the front desk when I called twice. I was surprised that there was no continental breakfast and no paper Sunday.
