the only problem I had was of my credit card being charged twice. I did also notice one small roach in the room but I know with people coming in and out that is expected otherwise it was okay

The hotel was nasty. There were burn holes in the bedspread, the carpet was wrinkly and had spots on it. The bathroom was small and confined and the towel rack had been installed improperly and was not level. Room had an odor of curry and cigarettes. Bed was comfortable, but that was the only thing good about the room. The stay was not good. The firer alarm went off around 1: 00 a.m. It was cold in the lobby area.

The hotel is not exactly right downtown, but it's close enough. The service was great. I didn't really need much though. If u just need a room for the night, this is the place.

The cost of the hotel was good and it was adequate for our needs. We didn't spend much time in our room since were visiting family. It wasn't in a good neighborhood so if that is important then I wouldn't choose this hotel. For that reason alone I won't be staying there again.

My son and I used this Ramada to attend the U of Cincinnati's open house. The hotel is ~5 miles from the school. The neighorhood is NOT the best and the hotel's condition is even worst. The first thing you notice is the trash in the parking lot, which only contained 8 cars (should have been my first clue). Our room had peeling wall paper, broken drawer […] knobs, and a tub that could have used additional cleaning. I figured since we were 1 0f 8 cars in this 500 bed hotel we'd recieve one of their better rooms (wrong!). The ice machine on our floor did not work and there was no trash can to except any overflow trash from the room. I took our additional trash down to the main lobby only to have the guy behind the desk point to a can outside. This was a good hotel for the price.

Hotel was Convenient to the Duke Energy Center. I would not stay there again though. The rooms look very worn. The heater had broken pieces on it. Very noisy, next to a main road. It was hard to find the entrance, it was almost hidden. They had 3 elevators, one was for the Employees, the other didn't seem to work. Had a hard time opening the door. It is not in the best location (just out of the downtown area) and it is under construction. They have no dining area and the only thing around without taking a taxi is White Castle. Not the best set up.

I should have known when I arrived and there was litter all over the parking area. Everything in this place was filthy, the carpets, large holes in the walls, lobby was completey torn apart, walls partially missing. I walked several floors, portions of walls missing on each floor & dirty carpet and smelled bad. In my room the entire wall by the window […] had really thick mud residue where dirty water had ran down it and the room stunk of mildew. The sofa in the room was very dirty and stunk also... Bathtub was in bad shape. I'm not sure why, but I have been itching since I left and I was being bitten by some small bugs while I was there. Upon checking in we waited 15 minutes while the man at the front desk typed on a computer. Hotel smelled horrible. Things were broken and looked damaged everywhere. Had no toothpaste for two days, although signs in the room said they had it. The location of this hotel is perfect, only 10 minutes walk to the Downtown Cincinnati. But there is bugs in the room. Well, I believe they are from the sofa, though not sure if they are spiders or bedbugs. I got seriously bitten. We booked for two nights, but I just cannot bare it anymore and left after the first night.

Hotel was disgustingly dirty. Walls were damaged & dirty. Turned on air conditioner, it billowed out dust (or something). There were people just hanging around the hotel. Felt unsafe. We left and went to another hotel – it was that bad.

This isn't exactly in downtown Cincy, also, the parking garage, which was connected to the hotel, was infested with rats. I saw at least 3, and you know what they say- for every 1 you see there are bunches more you don't see. As if the rats weren't creepy and gross enough, they were huddled around this red puddle on the ground in the garage, which looked […] like blood. On my floor, right when I got off the elevator, there was a piece of plywood covering up the door frame of a room. There was a sign excusing them for the appearance, but still- it was the first thing greeting me off the elevator. Tacky. Many of the hotel walls were damaged or dirty. The floor we stayed on had no ice machine, the floor below had one but it was broken so I had to go down yet another floor to get ice. The rooms were clean and the hotel provides the basic amenities. It's not fancy, per se, but the staff is friendly they're attentive to your needs. There were no issues with security and it was a pleasant stay. My main complaint is the showers are low. If you're over 6' tall, like me, you have to be careful!

this hotel is in serious need of a complete renovation. also when we checked in I had prepaid for 2 rooms and showed my hotels.com receipt and they still had us waiting for 20 minutes to get confirmation. I was excited, thinking I was getting a great deal on this hotel...well, that fact is, it should really be cheaper than the rate I paid for it. Cons: 1 First off, the place looked bad, before we even got into the lobby! The parking lot was really scary, dark, with little to no lighting, and questionable people milling about. 2. We wanted to surprise our kids with a trip to the pool, but the hotel pool looked BEYOND SCARY! (and yet, they still offered it to people to swim in!?!?I It looked more like a swampy moat, more than anything else!) 4. The room smelled like cigarettes, too (and I made sure to get a NON-smoking room.) The bathroom was not the cleanest, either. 5. I called the front desk for 2 wake up calls (one at 6. and the the other for 30 minutes later) and the only gave us the later wake up call. 7. The staff was neither helpful, nor very friendly. Certainly left something to be desired... Pros: 1. This place was only 5 minutes from the theater where we took our little girls to see a show. so, the location was IDEAL, in that one respect. ( The neighborhood was NOT.) 1. The make-your-own Belgian Waffles was the BEST (and ONLY) nice part about our stay! These 2 things were the ONLY positive things to say about this place. Overall, I would spend the money and find a closer place, in a better neighborhood, with better service, a sanitary pool, non-smelly rooms, and make sure they have those Belgian waffle makers. The room was clean, and comfortable. Great value overall.

The service was horrible. The owner/manager/front desk person was rude and not helpful. Not a place I would recomment to any one

No bed bugs. Just a pit. Room not clean. Everything is outdated, as in nothing has changed in that room since 1982 and they have not changed most of the signs from Quality Inn to Ramada. You think it's a Quality Inn when you pull up. No lights in parking garage. Brutal experiance. Don't stay here, pay an extra $100 and go some where else.

Overall, our stay at this hotel was okay. I didn't like the location of the hotel. It was close to downtown and only a 7$ cab ride but I didn't like that it was in front of a smelly whitecastle/gas station and with people walking around the hotel like if it were a bus stop. Our hotel room was clean but very old looking. It isn't updated and the bathroom […] was extremely small. The bathtub also looked dirty but was not because I did double check. I also thought the king size bed was a bit hard. The breakfast in the morning didn't have much of a variety but we survived. This hotel should be condemned. There were exposed pipes in hallway. Air did not work. Had broken hangers in closet and it was dirty.

Spent one night after a Red's game while planning to hit the zoo the next day. Hotel is in a not-so-nice area but is close to highways. There was nothing around as far as eateries, unless you count White Castle. Outdoor pool was tiny, as was the pool area, which only had 2 tables and a few chairs. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Bathroom was […] tiny and the water pressure for the shower was next to nothing. Breakfast was nothing great at all. Waffles were the only hot food. Otherwise, there was cereal, danishes, toast, etc. There was no hotel info in the room, like to tell you the attractions around the hotel, a TV guide/channel listing, etc. The carpet looked pretty old and worn. The furniture had nicks in it. There was only one bracket holding up the towel rack in the bathroom (the second one was broken). We needed more pillows, and when I went to the front desk to ask for more, no one was there (even after ringing the bell). The guy eventually came to the desk and said that the hotel was at max capacity (I highly doubt it, as we didn't see more than 3 other people in the hallways, and there were only about 15 people at breakfast), and he had to wait until the pillows dried to bring us more. It took over an hour to get more pillows. Honestly, I couldn't find any hotels in Cincy that had decent rates unless they cost almost $200 a night, so this may be as good as it gets. This hotel was horrible. The room did not appear clean. The whole hotel needs updating. The building does not look like the pictures on the website at all. The bathroom was horrible. My stay was booked for three days and cut it short and stayed there for few hours. I would not recommend this hotel.

Only thing that worked properly were elevators and girl on front desk on arrival. Room (9th flr) - halls were messy, no fire hoses at either end in compartments, wallpaper peeling, ice machine broke. Room - wallpaper torn and peeling, rug stained, AC noisy and ran continuous to main coolness. No chair to sit at desk. No fan in bathroom not sufficient […] cold water to take a warm shower, low pressure. Closest ice machine on 6th flr. And for the finale I find my waist and legs covered in bug bites, and considering I wore a tux when outside I don't think they came from mosquitos. At breakfast attendant didn't know what peanut butter was, no lids for coffee cups. All baggage carts missing upon departure, checked every floor - zip! They were there and used on arrival. This is not heresay but an actual accounting. I Did not complain as there supposedly were no more rooms available, and the bites didn't show until on way home. THE RAMADA IN CINCINNATI WAS JUST A BASIC ROOM. THE BED WAS COMFORTABLE BUT THE PILLOWS WERE THOSE CHINCY SQUARE PILLOWS THAT WERE NOT VERY COMFORTABLE AT ALL. REALLY NO AMENITIES, SO THE ROOM WAS JUST GOOD FOR GETTING TO SLEEP AND THEN LEAVING 1ST THING IN THE MORNING, WHICH IS WHAT WE DID. WE HAD A TV WITH CABLE BUT NO REMOTE.

We had 4 people staying in the room and were only provided 2 bath size towels. The sheets were not changed during our 2 night stay and I am not sure they were clean on arrival. The bath tub was very scratched and stained on the bottom. The walls of the room were not clean. If you just need a place to lay your head over night, this is fine. However the accommodations leave a lot to be desired. From the towel and toilet paper holders barely holding on, to having no clock in the room, to the sitting area too gross to sit on.... I could go on but why! I will not be returning.

In that I needed a place to place my head at night it served its purpose. It is definitely a no frills hotel in a sketchy neighborhood. The bed was nice as was the bathroom.

This is not a place for families or children. Guests were a weird mix of baseball fans, business people, and would-be criminals. I did not feel safe outside the security of our room. Elevators opened and closed so quickly that it took us three attempts to board one with our luggage. The shower in the room was broken--called for maintance -no one showed. Would not take a bath in that tub. Also, Window had a whole at top of frame allow the sound from the traffic outside. Outside hall smelled terrible. Advertising stated High speed internet which was not offered. Ice machine was rusted and looked dirty. Trash outside every where.

i have stayed here before and this time the bathroom needed work done the toilet seat needed to be replaced and the toilet paper holder also needed to be replaced

The first rooms we were assigned the bed sheets were on the ground, there was clothes on the floor, the bath tubs were ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC... ugh! Don't waste your money.
