I was so disappointed in my stay at the Ballpark Hilton. When we arrived, we were told that the elevators were new and "high-tech". However, when we got in the line for the elevator we quickly found out that each trip to and from our twentieth floor room would take at least ten minutes. When we got to our room, there was a large black safe in the middle […] of the floor and a used breakfast ordering card on the bed. We really did love our view but thank God I paid extra to see the stadium...otherwise we would have left the hotel. We decided to make the most of it and got ready to go up to Bar 360. This was the real problem. The first elevator took 15 minutes to get to our floor and it was full. We foolishly waited another 5 minutes for yet another full elevator. After that we decided to try the service elevator..which never arrived. So we went back and tried the main elevator again and this time it told us to "Please Try Again". We were on floor 20 and should not have had to walk down 20 flights of steps in our own hotel. We were basically stranded on our floor. I bought this room for my boyfriends birthday and was VERY excited to have a nice night together that was instead full of complaints. I called the front desk to complain. They said they would get back to me and never did. I don't even think I would accept a free night from this place for my trouble. Ďalšie informácie

To start with i booked the room with the understanding that it was a smoking room when i went to check in i was told that the hotel was all nonsmoking (witch i can deal with most places being this way now) but the person at the front desk was very rude about it . i was told that if it was a problem that i could find some where else to stay. The room […] was to have a king size bed but it didnt it was a queen . being 6ft 3 my feet hung off the end of the bed . the ac unit in the room sounded like a leaf blower with a bad bearing and the bath room had hair and scum in the floor . This hotel is definitely overpriced, in every way. The rooms are small, with only one chair, and the bathroom was small as well. They were charging about $10 per drink at the bar. The worst part of all though are the elevators. There are only 3 elevators and we waited almost twenty minutes each time we needed to use one. This hotel is definitely not […] worth the trouble. We returned to our room after a three hour absence to find the deadbolt thrown and the door ajar. No staff in sight. Fortunately, nothing taken. Manager of the bar area was very pleasant, staff service was very slow.

Good location, small rooms!

The hotel had a little bit of everything. Our children LOVED the yogurt shop! I enjoyed the Starbucks. Hubby loved the bar. Our room was spacious and clean, but the bed seems a little uncomfortable for me. Even though we got a city view, we still could see the arch, so that was a plus. One down side was that the elevator was in full use for the top […] story bar and riding that with my children was not cool. Wish there was a way to curb that. And parking across the street in the parking garage was not so fun. Plus, it costing $18 didn't help. Other that those small inconveniences, it was nice. Elevators are a nightmare and the hotel list smoking rooms as and option when the whole hotel is smoke free

My husband and I wanted to get away by staying at this hotel downtown in our home town. We were told that we were on the new renovated side of the hotel. When we got to the room,the bath tub was dirty, the elevator was stuck for 5 min..and the room was just uncomfortable. There was nothing newly renovated about this room or floor. I planned a romantic evening with my girlfriend but I was unable to get the room I reserved. I ordered a king room however, I was given a double bedroom and they would not change my room to honor my reservation. To be fair they did give us a comp (breakfast). The toilet in the room clogged twice and at one point stopped flushing completely. The bathroom is terribly small and cramped. The bartender in 360 was rude and the manager on duty did not take our word for her behavior but rather put us out. This hotel is extremely nice... but so is the price. We got the room at what I thought was a wonderful rate through hotels.com; however, the amenities that most hotels consider free is charged for here. I understand it was located in downtown St. Louis, but I was charged $25 a night for parking, $10 a night for a refrigerator in our room that would […] not even hold a pizza box, $10 a night for wireless internet in your room and then a 26% gratuity on every purchase that was made. For example, one night we had 4 beers brought up to our room and paid over $40 for them. That was absurd in my eyes. I have been to St. Louis many times and stay on the outside of it at places such as West County, Arnold, and Maryland Heights and I will definitely be going back to those places. Very nice hotel - elevators were very slow but very busy weekend . Hotel staff was available and pleasant to help since new technology with elevators.

View was great, beds were very small. Otherwise, great stay.

STAFF LOOKS DOWN ON YOU IF YOU'RE NOT "DRESED UP". ROOMS ARE SMALL AND UNCOMFORTABLE. FIXTURES ARE ALL OLD AND FALLING APART. NO AMMENETIES TO SPEAK OF OTHER THAN A HAIR DRYER AND IRONING BOARD. Even though I am not a Cardinals fan, this hotel was a fun place to stay. Historic portraits of Cardinal players all over the hotel walls were great to browse and Busch Stadium is a short walk away (as is the arch). The 360 bar is a nice perk too.

We had a great stay. It was conviniently located 5 minutes walk to the Gateway arch. The staff was very friendly, their restaurant was very good. I would definitely stay there again.

Great Hotel that's close to Busch Stadium. It's actually right close to the Arch and and was in a great part of downtown. Everyone was very friendly and the concierge gave us a great BBQ restaurant to got to. It's called Pappy's and you have to go!!

The hotel is very nice,but our room was not so great. We reserved a room with a king bed and fold out sofa. When we arrived at the hotel they told us they did not have a king but could put us in a room with two doubles. I had specifically asked through hotels.com for the king with sofa sleeper, and was assured that would be what we were given. In order […] to keep us in a king the downgraded us to a tiny room with a king bed, no sleeper. The room we were given was also an ajointing room; which made it sound like we were sharing a room with the people in the room next to us. They had a screaming toddler, who woke us up very early. If we hadn't been sharing a door with this family I don't think the noise would have been an issue..... There are many hotels in the area, and next time I will be trying one of them. I love the Hilton being so close to the ballpark. The rooms were clean and the TV had kid friendly channels. The pool was a little over chlorinated, but swimable. It was overall an excellent stay.

We have stayed at Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark several times and we are always very happy. It is in within walking distance of Busch stadium. The rooms are always clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly. The pool and hot tub were clean. We visited the new 360 bar and we were really impressed.

I ordered room service breakfast and not only did it arrive on time but it was awesome! Good food temperature, taste and portion size. A real nice treat!

Room was RIGHT outside elevator... hence, ALL NIGHT people were heard outside the door and woke us up. Room was SMALL!! I was angry we changed hotels to end up with a more expensive and smaller room with a terrible location on the floor.

I think the internet service should be free with the amount of money you pay to stay there. I would not recommend the stay due to not having inernet service in your rooms.

Let me start with the hotel itself was in a perfect spot in St. Louis - across the street from the ball park, a few blocks from the arch, under a mile from the arena. Our room was large with nice light, comfortable bed and bedding. Nice hotel bar with lots of tv's showing current sports games. Downsides: Extremely tiny bathroom, the door almost rubbed […] on the toilet to close. Charge of $9 a day for WiFi (really? with what the room cost???) Average breakfast buffet with the usual scrambled eggs, meats, breads, very nice fruit selection. HUGELY overpriced. For two of us, it was about $35. NOT worth the cost. Now the warning: My husband and I took our first vacation of any sort in years to see a concert. Drove in from Chicago for the event. We are both smokers (I know many of you won't be, but none the less, let this be a cautionary tale). We booked at the Hilton even though it was MUCH more expensive than other hotels we looked at for one singular reason - a confirmed smoking room. However, without any letter, call or e-mail of warning, it seems they changed their policy a couple of weeks ago and would not honor their contract with us. I showed them the booking confirmation showing a smoking room. All I got was a blank stare, a rote "our policy changed" No sorry, nothing. If I had known that I would have saved us nearly $300 over our two night stay by booking elsewhere. Certainly they knew when we booked our room that their policy would have changed by that date. No warning = not fair. On that I feel very cheated out of $300. I don't appreciate being on this end of a bait and switch. Buyer beware - what change will they make to what you booked? Second: the hotel has three HORRIBLE elevators. only THREE of them for a 20+ story building, and one often dedicated to taking diners to the rooftop restaurant/club, leaving only two 2 for guests. Everything was up to par. A good experience and great location. I read many places that the elevators were slow. That is an understatement. So if you are in a rush while enjoying your vacation, try somewhere else.

This hotel is in a prime location for visiting St. Louis. Walking distance to most of the major touristy things to see and convienient to resturants of all kinds. The staff was generally helpful and friendly. However, the noise level in the room was crazy. I understand that it's going to be louder staying in a downtown location, but I would also think […] that Hilton would understand that and make the appropriate considerations. We could hear every word that the people in the room next to us were saying when they were in their bathroom, we could hear every word of every song some band sang down the street...and we were on the 19th floor. It would have been nice to have a fan in the bathroom or a fan on the AC unit to drown out some of the other noise...but there was no bathroom fan and the AC fan only ran when the AC was running. Hotel was very nice but we were EXTREMELY disappointed about the poor elevator service. We had to wait any where from 3 to 5 minutes every time just to get an elevator. Were forced to walk the stairs twice after giving up after more than 10 minutes of waiting. Not a nice walk for my 8 month pregnant daughter to make. sorry to say but i wasnt at all pleased with the room. I paid more then i have ever paid in my life for this room and the room was just an avrage room with an aweful oder. when i call to have maintnace check it out it took them a whole day and then they just poured bleach down the toilet and sink. so needless to say i wasnt at all happy wit the room […] or the survice of this high dollar hotel. i can get a better room at the casino for a lot less Ďalšie informácie

Wonderful location, as we were there for the Brewer/Cardinal game. Just walked across the street. The only thing was the surprise parking fee. . Pretty pricey and was not told that beforehand. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay in historical St. Louis!
